What is needed for the classroom.....

There will be a written test over all materials that we will cover.

I will supply pens, pencils, everything you need for the classroom. Firearms wil NOT be allowed in the classroom for saftey reasons.

There will be a 1 hour break for lunch.

You can bring a sack lunch or you can order out and have it deliveried or go out for lunch.

At the range

I recommend that you use the firearm that you plan on carrying as you conceal carry. So that you are familiar with this firearm with how it feels and how it fires.

Proficiency at the range ; You will need the min. of 50 rounds for this part. You will fire 20 rounds at 3 yards, 20 rounds at 7 yards and the final 10 will be done at 15 yards. You need at passing score of 175 out of 250 to pass the portion.

The range proficiency will be done at Garland Public Shooting on Pleasant Valley in Garland , TX

The range does charge a $20 range fee/membership for those who has never been there. Everytime after that it is only $10 for all day fun. The range has several different pistol lanes 3 yards, 7 yards, 15 yards and 25 yards. It also has several different rifle lanes 50 yards and 100 yards , plus a skeet lanes for shotguns. So for $10 you have full use of the range the entire day.

If you do not have eye or ear protection you can rent it from the range for a small fee.

This is an outdoor range so dress accordingly.

Payment : At this time I only take cash.
